chronic chest/back pain

For at least the past three years I have had a continuous problem with chronic left chest pain that feels as though it bores straight thru to my back, with some heartburn. I have had an echocardiogram which was negative and a gallbladder ultrasound which was also negative. My doctor diagnosed it as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Nothing seems to improve the pain and it is worse with movement and deep breathing. I have tried Relafen and Prilosec neither have helped at all. What else could it be?
