Propulsid was taken off the market as some doctors prescribed it to patients with heart problems which was not recommended. Unfortunately some of these patients died. Regarding alternative treatments; I have been to a chiropractor who has helped my symptoms slightly by readjusting my stomach and spine. He also recommended a course of pepsin hcl to help digest food more easily.
