Let us know what she answers you, Lisa. My new one answers NOTHING. He says I was "all over the place" in describing my symptoms and not focused, because "fast heartbeat has nothing to do with Gerd." I need someone to tell ME what's wrong! Even after he did the endoscopy last August, and found a small hiatal hernia, a small touch of Barretts, etc. I got no follow-up explanation of what kinds of cells, because Barretts differs, or how a hiatal hernia might worsen reflux or where it was, or how my loose LES figures in. I gave him all my records from the 24-hourPH and the abnormal manometry the previous March -- he never mentioned how to deal with that. Aren't we allowed to know how our diseases work? I'm off on a late-night rant again. I wish I was in shape to go see that surgeon again, but life has, at least temporarily, framed me. Or as my ex boyfriend says, "You are umbrelled."
No-one ever suggested Carafete to me. Mever even heard of it before coming to this board. Is it new?
