The first thing to do is to exclude a cardiac problem, and it sounds like your doctors have done a good job of this. Not all patients with reflux have typical heartburn, and patients with Barretts may have fewer symptoms for the same amount of reflux than those without. You should see your gastroenterologist again, because your symptoms should be better on medication, as long as you are taking it correctly. Headache is occasionally a side effect of the medications used to treat reflux.
