Mother suffering severe burning

My mother had an esophageal ulcer in 1996, but Prilosec took care of it until August of 2000. On 10/13 she had an upper endoscopy & on 12/1 she had both upper & lower- showing a fungus the first time around & the 2nd time showed small hiatal hernia, shotzkeys rings; but no Gerd I guess. But for 6 months straight she has had severe burning that starts in her chest & radiates into her back and shoulders, etc. Nothing helps that Dr. has prescribed. She has lost 16 lbs. in 4 months & gets hungry but can't each much or feels worse after eating. What about the endo-cinch procedure??
