Dear Doctors:
Is there an explanation as to why so many of us suffer from a weakened LES? It seems that it is becoming more common - is that merely because the tests are now more sophisticated and can spot these abnormalities, or are there any theories in regards to a virus causing this, or our American way of life? Is this something seen primarily in America versus world wide?
What is the general explanation for what is causing this in so many people? Thank you for your answer!
