I have seen 3 gastros & am told that there is no help for me because I can,t tolerate P.P.I.s Had all the test-came up negative because I was still on Med during the test. My problem is Laryngal Reflux-also in my ears. My ENT saw evidense on that.I am on 150mg Zantax a day-I chew gum most of the day-terrible taste in my mouth-keeps me awake at night. Surgery may not be an option for me- had 2 strokes. I did not have heartburn before med.and I don,t know if I have bile reflux. I have stomach emptying problems with med,which I did not have before. Also before med. it did not bother me until the afternoon,now it is 24hrs a day if I don,t take Zantax. I eat dryed prunes with my oatporridge to keep my stomach going-and cook letters and try to get as much fiber as possible. Any suggestions? Inger
