I've had this since last June. Actually started with sore spot in upper back. I went to chiropractor for almost 2 months 3 times per week. After one adjustment, my entire upper left side hurt. I went to urgent care and was told broken ribs. I was given motrin and muscle relaxers. Two months later it got so bad, I was in emergency. More xrays and again told broken ribs. Months later when it didn't go away, I went to my doctor and he said costrochondritis. More pain pills and muscle relaxers. Wanting to play it safe, I had a lung scan and saw lung specialist. Thankfully that turned out ok. Just recently I went to a spine specialist and had MRI. That too was ok. Friday I'm going back to my doctor to tell him I want anything that can cause this of pain to be checked out. I can't take it anymore. I would like to know what a fistula is and what test was done to diagnose. What was surgery like? Thanks Halley
