Hi Debbie, Thanks again for a great report! Sounds like things are going good and you did the right thing, especially since your LES valve doesn't work!!
It's very helpful to all of us who are either contemplating the surgery or are going through with it. Interesting about the female part of it too! Couple of questions: Did they give you a specific diet to follow for the first months post op?? And did you find, if you followed it, you didn't have as many problems, or is it more individual. Also, when you say the couple of times you did reflux, is it actually heartburn coming up as before? Or is it the chest pain you were referring to and you can tell from that it's reflux.
