I'd advise you to call up whoever is testing you and ask them to clarify. When I had mine, I was sent written instructions re: what I could and couldn't do. It's possible that they vary depending on exactly what your situation is.
If you get it wrong, you wind up with useless results apparently, not to mention the unnecessary hassle and expense of taking the tests.
