After much ado, I have been diagnosed with GERD, gastritis and hiatal hernia through an endoscopy. I have pain in my upper abdomen and back, but no typical heartburn sensation. I also have some dizziness/lightheadedness, and feel heart palpitations. During this process, I have had a stress test and a couple of EKG's done to check my heart (nothing found). I am 29 and in otherwise decent health, not overweight, no high blood pressure, etc. My question is whether you have seen these symptoms related to GERD / hernia / gastritis, or should I pursue a cardiac route more thoroughly?
