By the way, Melissa's post brings you to an awesome surgeon, I do not know if you have out of area benefits. I am lucky , I do. However that post she sent about Mayo in Jacksonville, and the surgeon Hinder, he seems top notch with tons of research behind him. Something to also consider. Of course there is nothing like sticking close to home for follow up purposes, then again once it comes down to the nitty gritty of this particular operation - you want the very best surgeon you can afford, because this fundo thing is not like a walk in the park. And to a great measure, the success depends on the surgeon, and the pre-surgery work-up. When this whole thing started all I wanted was to be wrapped, Now I find that I am not as anxious, because there seems to be a vital need to assess whether one is a good candidate, and I have been suffering from this for a relatively short time. May be wishful thinking, but I keep hoping it is going to go away just the way it came. The other thing is - if I am going to need meds after fundo, then what is the point of going thru it. Again, keep me posted and I will you too. TAKE CARE
