Marianne, I have the same symptoms..when I told my Dr he said the same thing, I really think that Drs need to read up on more reactions to meds..I thought I was imagining things till I started reading this board..I am trying to wean myself off of PPI's also..when I first took Prilosec I was in alot of pain in the hips and joints..now it is not as often..
