Hey PJ Is Dr. Hunter out of Piedmont and what do you know about his experience in fundos? Is he one of the best do you think. I like my surgeon, but have not discussed with him the nissen. If at some point I ever get to the surgery juncture, I might like to get two surgeons opinions that are both local. The other surgical poss. is that fellow out of Mayo - Hinder who Melissa posted about. He seems real sharp. Tell me, I have an uncle in Toronto, I have asked my gi if she could call it in to a pharmacy near him, no answer to the question as of yet. How are you getting it from Canada? I saw Dr. Waring last week when my gi was out of town. She had sent me to him to get the ph/manom back in feb. I thought I would go to him for a second opinion. Thought about switching to him, and even told him I was considering - sensed some uncomfortability - there is a relationship between mine and him - have told him I would think about it and discuss with my gi. Have not had an opportunity to discuss it with her yet. She herself told me that he was one of the best, got the impression my case was too difficult for her. So I will see. Anyway, I think he is pretty swift. As I said there is also a woman down there who has been very heavily recommended to me just the other day who apparently has a rep for taking very good care of her patients. Hey PJ if you manage to get that domperidone, please let me know the process, and also how it works for you. I started taking this antibiotic erythromycin - I do not know if it is responsible, but I feel like a million bucks today. Was even able to paint, and eat three normal meals - I feel so different than two days ago, it is truly unbelievable. I am glad I found an Atlanta gerd buddy. I'll keep you informed, and please do the same for me. By the way, how long have you been in Atlanta, and where did you move from? I have been here 3 years, just starting to get used to it now. I moved here from Florida, but am a native New Yorker. I find this area stressful - especially the driving. (IN NEW YORK, I TOOK THE TRAINS ;) Take care, and stay in touch.
