yes I to get the same thing I have to drink to get food down & sometimes after I eat a meal I will gag terribly to the point I scare myself. anyway i think I do swallow a lot of air too due to my nervous personality. my doc also said same thing that I unconsiously swallow air & that is where pain/gagging comes from.
