Hey Jay, I have this sore throat (more like pain in throat, radiates to right ear - same thing as you. Ent saw reflux inflammation - gave me zantac 150 - not helping with problem much. also have pain in chest from reflux, but not really like heartburn. Have had a friable esoph in past, but then got better. Called ent today and asked for aciphex. Going to try that one and see if help. By the way, the ent had treated me with antibiotic for what he said was a low grade infection of the lymphoid tissue on the base of tongue, which i think was also from reflux. That is considered like a tonsil back there - the lingual tonsil. Don't know what is ever going to help this...
