I asked my doc at my 5 week post-fundo checkup about the whole vomit issue. He said that it will never be 'a good idea' to vomit and that I should have my anti-nausea pills with me as much as possible. It sounded like he meant indefinitely. I think it is just really hard on the wrap to have the wretching and the heaving and it will add to faster deterioration of the wrap itself. Supposedly, the wrap - even the tightest of wraps - have a deterioration rate of 1% a year - in 20 years it will be 20% looser. Episodes of overeating and vomiting hasten that pace. So my take on the whole thing is that yes, it may be possible to vomit, but do what you can to avoid it.
