During my stretta the EGD showed a lot more damage than Dr. Noar had expected (he hadn't done the EGD i had done a year ago) and he felt that the LES was looser than expected. But the damge probably is not that big a surprise as i was refluxing quite heavily for over a year. In the pictures i kept afterwards you can see damage up in the larynx. I also neglected to say that i've suffered from sinus problems all my life, but they ahve been worse since the end of college when i first showed signs of reflux. I also experience an increase in symptoms while exercising (tightening of the chest, increased belching, etc., i've always had some bit of exercise enduced asmha, maybe it's all been related??), so who knows how this is all related. on the good note, i've gained about 2.5 pounds in the past couple of weeks, so things are going in the right direction, i think. drinking ensure to try and get the weight up.
