Tom, sorry for the long post and such. I forgot to tell you that I really don't know about the delayed emptying. That is one test I have not had. My problem is mostly burping, pain in chest and throat. PPIs seem to be giving me a little intestinal problem but no pain. I do have terrible headach and when I cut back on PPI it goes away. Lee
