When I first saw Dr. Noar he recommended the EGG. He believes that there is a connection between the wave form (the EGG measures nerve signals in the stomach) and patients who are refluxers, particularly those who have regurgitative reflux. When I went to see my normal GI he confirmed that the test showed an arrhythmia or an abnormal signal. I believe that certain arrhthmias are related to gastric emptying conditions.
