My suggestion is try to sleep seated in a couch. I know that is difficult but you will get used if you try. I believe that most of reflux we have happens in the first 3 hours when we sleep lain. Three years ago I had cronic irritation of the esophagus (esophagit). I was in panic and tried so many things, but what really worked was keep my chest up 24hs day. Don’t try to sleep seated in a bed because your body will slide and this doesn’t work. Last year I had one endoscopy and my esophagus was ok (thank you Jesus) and the last prescribed medicine I took was more than 2 years ago what had terrible side effects. I learn identify when I’m having reflux and you know what, every body have reflux every day, but not everybody have reflux when sleep. My theory is that at night when we sleep is time for heal all the irritation cause by the reflux we had along the day. Reflux is normal. Today I have a normal life a ate any food. At night I start sleeping the 3 first hours seat in a couch and after that I can lie in my bed and sleep the rest of the night. I also drink natural ginger tea every day. God bless You with the cure. Tony.
