I had that burning for 3 weeks. I went to the doctor who prescribed Axid. I took that for 3 weeks and it only helped ease the burning for the first 2 days. I went back to the doctor and he prescribed Nexium. I have been on that for 4 weeks. The first week, the burning subsided somewhat. The second week, the burning disappeared. I have been ok ever since. I still have enough Nexium left for another 2 weeks. I had an Upper GI and everything was normal.
I suggest you go see the doctor for some medicine to help you. I know what you are going through...
