L.I. - the only silly question is one you know the answer to! You're right, taking a shower while you are wearing the monitor pack is not a good idea. You certainly don't want to fry the box and have to do the test all over again. However, that doesn't mean you can't exercise some personal hygene. If you're careful, you should be able to take a small bath as long as you don't let water come into contact with the monitor or any of the related connections. Most importantly, your physician/technician should/will give you all the "do's and dont's" about what you can and cannot do while undergoing the test.
