This is a follow-up to my post last week about my son's reflux and his endoscopy. We went for our appointment today. Unfortunately, the lab report was not the same as the doc's on-the-spot comments from visual inspection - the mild to moderate inflammation found last year is still present. The doctor is still hoping to get rid of the reflux by healing the inflammation (with Nexium). No more talk about stress and the reflux not being real. I'm hoping and praying that we'll be successful and we can get on with life without reflux. He is just a 9 year old kid, after all. Thank you so much for the responses last week. This site is a wonderful and informative support group. Maryann
