As a Gerd sufferer for about a year it appears that I am somewhat addicted to Aciphex.

The drug worked well for about 6 months, about a week ago my symptoms increased I am again experiencing reflux and burning along with cramps and burning in lower abdomen.

Why would it stop working??? My GI says it shouldn't BUT it has!!

I have'nt been watching what I am eating it seemed to get worse over the last week!!

I have tried all PPI's Aciphex seems to work best!!

Any advice?? I am a tough responder it takes about 2 months for PPI's to work for me.

Nexium gave me horrible headaches!!!

Thanks for feedback!! it seems Doctors understand very little about this disease!
