Another operation? What kind of operation? How often has he had this happen? When will you have all of the testing done? If Dr. Smith doesn't think that your throat problems are from gerd, what does he think they are from?
You know, Robin had the same surgeon perform his fundo and has had a totally different outcome. Could it be that you just need more time to heal? What kind of statistics did Dr. Smith give you prior to surgery, i.e., how many had he done, what was his success rate, etc. Could you possibly have lifted something that was too heavy . . groceries, a suitcase? Maybe you just need more time, Lee.
Hang in there. It sounds like your doc wants to get to the bottom of this. Thanks so much for letting us know what is happening.
