Hi Buffy, For what it's worth, I feel great 99% of the time! When I do experience pain it's more than likely due to excessive gas build up in my stomach. This is due to a tight warp but I don't think it's "too tight." As I've posted before on this board, when the pain hits I take one (sometimes two) Levsin pills and they work really fast. Drinking some water also helps. I was told by my suregeon that the wrap will loosen a bit over time. I was told six to eight months. I can sorta burp but not like I used to. So, I really avoid gassy foods and carbonated beverages. Believe me, I would rather have the very occasional gas pain than go through the hell I was in before the fundo. I would also consider my live better than "normal" just because, for years, normal meant GERD HELL! I'm back to flying airplanes, playing golf and ice hockey. The only thing really different is I can't eat as much food as I used to and as a result, I get hungry sooner after eating. Otherwise, life is grand! Hope that helps, Robin
