Hang in there, answers are hard to come by even for doctors. The good ones admit this and it sounds like you got a good one. You know what they say, dance with the one that brung ya - in other words I agree with you stay with the doctor you have rather than switch - he is familiar with you and your anatomy.
Keep us posted, and rest up - you deserve it!
