I had fundo op 1 1/2 years ago. everything seems fine,but now chest pain is being blamed on reflux. get heart palps, had 2 eco's, 3 ecg's and 1 24 hr monitor.showed significant palps that get very rapid but doc says ok. Last few months blood pressure has risen (43yrs old) normally blood presure 107/65, was sent to hospital with 170/105 last week, doc at Emerg said probably stomach and to go back on meds and get an endoscopy (thought I was all finished with those). My question is does anyone else get chest pain, NOT severe, just a tight feeling, a bit short of breathe and also I have noticed since the surgery that I seem to have more post nasal drip and congestion feeling in my chest. I am quite certain this pain is not panic attack, have had those and dont feel the same, this pain can be dull and last all day and for days. Over the last 4 months had an episode where I suddenly faint extreme faint while driving, recovered quickly but was very frightend, then had 1 month of very bad heart palps, and then 2 months later woke up with a large broken blood vessel in my eye, and blood presure once at 140/100, 170/105 and now 130/90, normally have low low pressure. The doc's are saying this is my stomach????? What do you think??
