Hey Lena, My heart went out to you as I read your story. I think you need to get another internal med. dr opinion about all of this. Try to get a recommendation from someone you trust before you decide who to see. The thing with the blood pressure is something I can relate to - I was about 2 years ago being sent to the firehouse several times per week to monitor my bp. Now I have lost 45 pounds since becoming sick last year with all this stuff (gerd/gallbladder) and my pressure is normalized. Something else that comes to mind is that your new doc should work you up thoroughly bloodwork, heart, and even check for diabetes. I mention that only because I think that I suffer from mild diabetes or hyperinsulemia and am getting tested for that soon. I have the problems with the broken blood vessels in my eyes. Yours hopefully is just temp, mine may have come from a period of unchecked high bp/diab I have been told, and it would appear that my eyes will stay this way - which I have a few of those zig zag red vessels that really bother me. I also have palps which I think is related to reflux, but not sure and I plan to try to address that with my gi and intern. The hardest part is finding a doc that cares enough to get the right dx, keep trying!!
