I have not had the surgery, but have had Gerd? for almost 2 years. I am 33, and have high blood pressure. Tests have not shown reflux, but I get heartburn, bloating and sore throat with chest pains.
I also have alot of mucous in my sinuses and throat, leading my DR. to think my problems are coming from above, I never have reflux at night, I wake up feeling great, I start feeling bad after being up for a couple of hours.
My DR. wants me to start taking HBP drugs, but I want ot lose some weight and eat right for a couple of months and see if that helps.
I dont know if there is a connection between stomach problems and HBP, but I know mine was always low before I started having these problems.
