Steve, sorry to hear you're having a rough time of things. However, recommending you consider surgery would be very premature. First off, is your doctor a GI and are you comfortable with him/her? A second opinion may be in order. Also, it may be your medication needs to be changed. Some people respond differently to different drugs. And last but not least, you would need to have several other tests performed to see if you are even a good candidate for a procedure. I say procedure because Endocinch may work for you, or you may require full-blown Fundo surgery. These tests include, but are not limited to, PH & motility studies. If after all of the above, it turns out that surgery is an option for you, then by all means, give it serious consideration. There are plenty of us on this board that can give you all the nitty-gritty. Soooo, cross one bridge at a time and keep us posted. Cheers, Robin
