I am so sorry for anyone who can sing and then get the curse of the burning throat. Even the Surgeon and the resident who did not know me could tell that my voice was "raspy" But then I never could sing and envyed anyone who could. Now, my ENT could see something on my vocal cords before and after fundo. I also went through a period about 25years ago that the ent at that time said my vocal cords would not relax enough for him to give me an exam. He then sprayed them with something and could see. He said I was very tense. I guess I still am and paying the price. I do take a muscle relaxant at night but have even quit that at this point trying to find a cause. I used to be better in the morning but not any more. 24/7 now. I hate the thought of having to live with this pain as you seem to be doing, I don't want to do much of anything. I have lost my interest in food which my husband does not like because I have quit cooking much of anything. have you found anything that even gives you a temporary fix? Ice water is about all that helps me. Keep in touch. Thinking of you. Lee
