Maybe you are not that unusual. My surgeon gave me a Rx before the surgery for nausea (a suppository) because he did not want me to feel sick and worry about the possibility of vomiting. They asked me several times if I had filled it so I would have it at home. The surgery team at the hospital also told me that I would be given anti-nausea meds IV. They must have worked because after every other surgery I had had I would be very sick and this time I was not. I was so pleased. I was home in less than 24 hrs and never got sick. The only thing is that the meds make you sleepy and if you are doing anything of importance forget it! Like trying to work a real job. Take care of kids, etc. Good luck. Hope you are better real soon. Lee
