What are the symptoms of achalasia? I am curious to see if I have this. Everytime I eat I feel as if food is stuck in my esophagus. This has been going on for 8 months. I've never had acid reflux or anything. I looked at the Merck manual and it said that it takes a long time to get this but it seems like I have the symptoms. I've had an endoscopy and they only saw inflamation. Is alchalasia a serious condition?
