I use sugarless gum and hard candy to help with minor indigestion or globus feeling. It does help me. The saliva and swallowing pushes the acid back into the stomach. The only draw back is the increased swallowing of air and the ensuing burps which may bring up some reflux. It can't hurt to try and see if it works for you.
