Do either of you have yellow stools? About six weeks ago my reflux started acting up again. So the GI increased my Prevacid to 2x/day. The buring in my chest went away, but my throat still feels like there is a lump in it, and it often feels "swollen." I also have a hard time swallowing food; it feels like it gets stuck. This all feels different than my usual reflux. I also have gastroparesis (slow motility).
My doctor seemed pretty unconcerned about the yellow stools, but I am concerned.
I went to an ENT as well (on the advice of the GI), and my throat appeared to be fine. Am going for a modified barium Tuesday. Don't know what that will show.
I too have had my gallbladder removed (about 7 years ago).
Anything sound familiar to either of you?
