I'm so glad you wrote! This cough is driving me crazy as well and it doesn't matter what I eat. 20 min. or sooner, after I have eaten something my stomach has a fit about it and makes me cough. If I don't eat something on time, my stomach revolts with first the coughing, then gagging and then dry heaves. This might go on for 20 min. before it suddenly stops as if it were never disturbed. The closest observation I have found is that it has something to do with whatever stimulates the stomach to have an appetite. Sugar reacts faster than something salty, for example. I will have a bowl of cereal at 9 but I must followup with a heavier meal by 11 or my stomach goes into a rage. This action/reaction leads me to eating every 3 hours which isn't that easy. I dearly wish someone would come up with a solution, something I can take to stop these fits. I keep searching but haven't read (until today) of anyone having the same experience. I should mention that this too brings on the sinus' to fill up when I go into these coughing spells as well. Here's hoping someone will read this and have an answer.
