I just called my Gastro Dr. the other day explaining how much pain I'm in with no relief & he can't see me till the end of this month. I requested to try Aciphex, since after being on the Nexium for 2 mos wasn't helping. He gave me 20mg to take daily. Not to many Gastro Dr's in my county, so I'm at his mercy & it sucks...I almost went to ER last night as the pain was so bad, but what can they do for me???? I went to my primary today, & he doubled the Aciphex (1 in morn & 1 at night) Also gave me suppository's for nausea which I'm now starting to experience on top of everything else, that I didn't before, also dizziness. Am scheduled for a CT scan on tues. I don't know what this can show,& I hope I can keep the stuff I have to drink down, as if I upchuck, man am I in trouble with burning all over again. But I have to keep trying to find out what is wrong with me. I don't even know if it's a Gerd problem, wasn't actually dx with it,just mild esophagitis, gastritis, & small hiatal hernia. Symptoms seem to be the same, but nothing relieves this pain I have all the time under my left breast & epigastria region, which radiates into my esophagus.& chest. I'm full of constant rolling trapped gas I can't relieve, no matter what I take, or do. I also have a heart Arrhythmia problem on top of all this to contend with. Can the ER give me something to relieve the pain. Although I go through this horror every day & worsens by night. The other night I almost passed out, the pain was SO bad. If I go to ER on a night like that, what could they do for me temporarily, would they have given me something to ease the pain, or is it useless to go there??? I've lost 46 lbs in 2 mos b/c I can't eat, it hurts to much. I gave birth to 20lbs, & I'd go through that again rather than this. Sandy
