Thanks much for your response, Wayne. On Monday, I'm going to see if Dr. Hinder is on my insurance plan. By the way: Did you have any trouble swallowing before the surgery? My swallowing trouble is what has kept me from having the surgery, despite long-standing GERD symptoms. Apparently, surgery can sometimes make the swallowing worse (and not just during the healing process, but after). A surgeon I talked to a while back said he could work with the swallowing problem. And a second, dual question for you: When did you have the surgery, and how has the healing process been treating you? Thanks again, Wayne. --Dustin
