Thanks for the reply Jennifer. I was thinking it might be gas related. I was scoped back in November and had an upper GI a month later. They just said I had GERD and an irritated esophagus. Whats funny is that even after all this time (8 months) I just started having this abdominal pain and bloating. All of it started after I tried to take a fiber supplement that almost made me keel over. It caused my relux to double and out of no where I started having abdominal pain and nausea which I never had before. The docotor just doubled my Protonix prescription (40mg twice a day) and its helped the reflux but now I have alot of this pain and bloating. I guess this last stomach attack just really really upset my stomach and now its slowly going to heal again .... I hope. I just wanted to make sure that this pain was somewhat common. I have been treating my tummy extremely well ..... very strict and bland diet ..... already lost 70 pounds in the last 8 months just due to my strict diet ..... not fun but hopefully it will payoff later by allowing me to live normal again. Thanks again ..... take care.
