has anyone on this board had a successful fundoplication even though they had spasms or some swallowing issues before the fundo. My doctor says that I am a candidate for this(horrible reflux,low LES pressure,inflamation,meds not working,24 hour regurgitation) but I do have esophageal spasms and foods and liquids do get hung up in my esophagas(due to spasm)but they do go down into my tummy. My doc says that the fundo may even help this... anyone please? Hilary
