I'm sure you are right..its problibly related to the experience of the surgeon, however, the proceedures used today are problibly better than those used 5 years ago. When I had my surgery recently, my surgeon told me that for most people the proceedure is permanent. He indicated that in the 12 years he has been doing the surgery, only "a small percentage" needed repairs.
