Mike,
Finding someone with similar isn't really going to help. Mentally, but not physically. A blood test proves nothing, believe you me. Ask your doctor. I remember one day sitting in my GP's office, 15LBS under weight, burning out of control tummy and chest, unable to eat, and just the owrst condition I've ever been in my ENTIRE life. Everyone thinks of cancer first, at least I did when I started to lose so much weight and the fact that I had all of these symptoms that could not be explained. When the doctor came in I asked, "I've had three blood tests, nothing is showing up, yet I'm so very ill." "If I had something seriously wrong, say cancer, wouldn't the blood test show?" The doctors response, "No" and he explained why which makes perfect sense. I'm SURE this is NOT your problem, but a simple blood test and x-rays are going to show NOTHING! Like everyone else here and for anyone suffering GI related problems, you NEED a GI work-up by a good gastroenterologist, not a physical by a GP. There could be SO MANY things going on that would explain your problems, you've read this board, but you need the proper testing! Endoscopy, upper AND lower GI series, CT-Scans, colonoscopy, etc, etc. My GP was of no help, so I made an appt. with a GI and and the first thing he did was an endoscopy. It turned out I had gastritis, esophagitis, and duodenitis. My GP had NO clue as this was not his department and a blood test is not going to show GERD, reflux, gastritis, an ulcer, etc, etc. It's your body and I think you've wasted enough time. Two years to be in pain is crazy. Who knows what damamge is going on and the longer you wait, the worse it gets! Do yourself a favor and see a GI!
