Gerd cause change in taste of food?

I have had gerd for years and also a fundo surgery that did'nt last. Lately I've noticed that all food seems to have very little taste. Every thing seems tasteless even tho it's not. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I also have burning mouth and throat. Is it possible for acid reflux to destroy the ability to taste food?
