As mentioned in a previous post, my specialist told me if by July the Aciphex has not helped my condition at all, he would recommend surgery. If so, what should I expect (is there only one type of surgery for correcting a hiatal hernia/lazy esophagus, etc)? How long do these things take to schedule, and will I be ready to start my semester in late August?
