I can concur with that. I notice that when I have tried to go off of it, the severity of my shortness of breath comes back with a vengeance - THREE WEEKS LATER. Then when I start to take Nexium again, my shortness of breath improves - THREE TO FOUR WEEKS LATER.
So, in my case, yes, I can say it takes a little while. I guess it depends on your symptoms.
