Hi!
My nightmare continues. I had fundo surgery last Oct. I continued to have chest pain without reflux. I went to University of PA hospital to see a specialist. I had another 24 hr ph mannometry and esophagal transit test. I called today to get results and I was told that I have ineffective esophageal motility. Posssible early acalashia???? I now have to have a barium swallow test next Friday. The nurse, of course, only gave me this information. She could not answer any questions. I have to save them for the dr. on July 26. Wouldn't the fundo cause the motility problem? I am not sure what to even worry about. I looked up achalasia and its treatments seem to contradict the fundo. Any thoughts................
