Thanks so much for your support. I really hadn't thought about the diet much becaus i was more into how much i was eating rather than what. anyway, i didn't begin to feel worse until after i saw the surgeon last which is when i really began to eat more in the way of bagels and pasta. i'm going to regress my diet a bit and see where that leads, and see the surgeon on monday. meanwhile, i have to admit that the fatulence feels good, but doesn't impress my folks when i'm in the room with them in the evening. ha.
