Hi JC,
Have you had your cholesterol checked recently? There is a connection between high LDL, recent weight loss and the formation of cholesterol based gall stones. Reducing refined carbs and increasing fiber can reverse this, but you must be careful to get required nutrients like B12, minerals etc. If your triglycerides are high you are also at risk for heart attack. Check the pamphlets at your doctor's office and do some surfing about "triglycerides"
